My thoughts on McQueen Resort 2010:
I loved that it played on a lot of the same themes as his men’s s/s 2010 collection. This piece and the tights (featuring the same pattern) were also a great addition, and I’m glad he didn’t use any of the patchwork quilt-type of pieces for this collection; I loved them in the men’s collection, I thought they were a wonderful surprise, but they wouldn’t have had the same impact in this more graphic and bold resort collection. The primary color palate was a great choice, too. The collection wasn't groundbreaking, but it was just a resort collection, after all.
